that can't apply in my case. It's a VGA adapter not DVI. If they sold it to me it must be for using a VGA display! and it worked for weeks (months, now) fine. something has failed. There's no input detected by the monitory It just struck me that the Hardware test did not test the video so I ran it again. It only seems to test the memory. I'm sure in ages past it ran video tests though.
