All, I use a Netgear DG834PN wireless router/modem via airport to connect a couple of Intel iMacs and occasionally a laptop and occasionally two iPhones to the internet via btinternet. For some strange reason I just lost the internet connection. It just stopped (airport was still connected). I restarted the router and restarted the macs. One iMac, both iPhones and the laptop are back on line.
The other iMac connects to the airport but refuses to connect to the internet. In the network preferences pain it says, "Airport has a self assigned IP address and may not be able to connect to the internet". This despite the fact that (I thought) it's set to use DHCP. The iMac is using 10.5.5. Ideas anybody?
