Hi Folks, OK here are my initial thoughts after a couple of hours playing with the OS:-
1) Accidently swiped right on the home screen and found the search my iphone stuff (The icon is a magnifying glass that looks to much like the continuation dots if you have lots of apps) This is really very good, search mail,contacts and songs and notes and apps (That last one is great for me). It doesn't search SMS's though which is a shame. 2) The stock ticker seems improved with graphs and stuff, not that I really used it before. 3) The forwarding and deleting of individual messages in SMS is cool as I can forward several messages from a single person at once by selecting the little circle next to the message. 4) Can't find a way to send MMS messages other than on contacts. At the bottom of a contact you can forward via MMS. Doesn't seem to be a send MMS in Photo's either. 5) Copy and paste work well, although you can only copy the whole of a text message not individual text. 6) Search in mail is wonderful but I will probably do it from the home screen now I have found it. 7) The landscape mode in mail is less useful than I thought it would be. 8) The voice recorder is cute, love the vu meter and it is clear. 9) Have not worked out how to grab multiple photos for emailing, I really must watch the keynote. 10) There seem to be some extra features in notes like sending via email (I don't remember seeing it before). Overall it seems good, although I have a couple of crashes with mail but hey its a beta. I will post some more when I have had time to play properly.
