Hi, the article had a strong whiff of little PR heist for Symantec and a bit of 
a plant for those who aren't Mac savvy but may be borderline PC defectors. But 
wanted to pass latest tech gibber along as sometimes something will break one 
side of the pond before the other.

My iBook G4 is nowt 4 years old and I havent upgraded a thing and still runs 
like a top!

Of course we know I do nothing extravagant

It wasn't a "trial version", but pirated versions (of iWork and I
think 
Photoshop).  If you choose to download pirated versions of commercial 
software, from p2p or any other source, you deserve whatever you get.
