Do you mean memory or do you mean hard drive space? You need to go into:
Finder/mackintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor o check on how
much memory you're using.
However, I think it's more likely you want to know how much disk space you
have left, which is: Finder/mackintosh
HD/Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.  Whatever you do, *don't *reformat!
(half-humourous quip there). If you click on the drive you want, presumably
Mackintosh HD, and then look on the bottom right-hand half of the widow,
you'll see the size of the disk shown and how much is used/free. While
you're there you could click on Repair Disk, which will sort out any
fragmentation issues (hopefully!)
