Thanks for that reply.
I have experienced what you describe with Microsoft Office.
I couldn't find anything on the Apple website.
Next time I go into an Apple store I will ask and see if they can  
point me to the definitive answer.
Its probably in the licence that one agrees to but (I'm guessing here)  
I'm probably not alone in admitting I've never read one.
