sorry but I can't remember the details. What machine, OS version and video codec is this? Is it *all* video? It may be QuickTime but I'm not sure if VLC uses those libraries or has its own. But that sounds like the common link. What version are you running? As I said earlier, I sorted this by reinstalling which hasn't helped you.
