The archive and install didn't fix it so I backed everything up and did a full reinstall. Restored all my data and apps - and it still does it. Video is choppy and the sound cuts out randomly. I have tried running the video in iTunes, the standard quicktime player and VLC and it almost always gets choppy after a minute or two. As a test last night I booted a live CD of ubuntu, install VLC and downloaded one of the video podcats I have been having problems with. It played fine. I tested it three times and it ran through with no issues. Booted back into OSX and played the same file again and it went choppy about 1.5 mins into the podcast. I have snow leopard on order and hope that it will fix this issue. Not sure what else there is I can do if it doesn't -- Paul Howard web: http://phoward.com | twitter: http://twitter.com/phowardcom tel (UK): +44 (0)1293 738158 | mobile (UK): +44 (0)7903 505153 | tel (US) : +1 251 243 0058 --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
