I'm on a canal boat at the moment without FCP to hand, but I had a
similar issue and had to use the Firewire Basic setting with the deck
rather than the one I thought was the obvious choice.

I assume you've already tried a few of the settings, but have another
fiddle, just change one thing at a time and try again. FCP likes to be
completely shut then re-opened to detect external devices so it can be
a pain.

I'd say it was a setting issue rather than 3 decks not working though,
that seems highly un-likely.

Let us know how you get on and please keep posting here, it really IS
interesting.
