Whilst there might me some unix hackery you can do to reduce the size of 
your swapfile, you should consider it essential - it is your virtual 
memory, allowing applications to use more memory than your physical memory 
allows. Hence 'vm'. You shall have to find space elsewhere, I'm afraid!
