Airport express dropped off the network a month ago: I was away and haven't
reset it since I came back. So it's not that.

I was getting an excellent service till a couple of days back, when it became
very slow. I thought it was the modem, and I certainly wasn't getting the speed
I should have had, but connecting with an ethernet cable today suggests to me
it must be in the wifi router in time capsule.
