I will take it in early next year when I am in Brighton next. Thanks

I do not have EyeTV running at the moment but I thought it might have  
been boinc. That runs most of the time. Though I have closed that off  
as well before shutting down. Though if that could be the case I will  
wipe the machine and reinstall the OS and see if that clears the  
problem.
