what sort of network does it run? which specification of wifi? (a, b, g, n). 

I think if you're going to solve this via the list you will have to describe in 
technical detail what is going and what the set-up is. Otherwise we're reduced 
to guessing what it might be (and it could be a lot of things).

Try rebooting the router. Specifically, unplug it and leave it unplugged for 
about 15 minutes. i've seen this clear far more errors than it logically should.
