Hi Stephen,

As the iPod was connecting via WiFi I assume it is a Touch and the primary
function of connecting being to gain access to the internet not to sync.

When Ella asked her question she only mentioned WiFi which you cannot sync
with anyway.

Using the WiFi router should enable a Touch to access the internet from home
at any time, not only when a Mac is turned on.

Hope this makes sense.

Angmering), outside temp 5°!

Paul, could you explain for the unenlightened (me!) why that would be
better? I don't have WiFi enabled on my iMac as it uses Ethernet, but my
iPod can be flakey at times connecting to my router and an improvement would
be welcome.

Cheers,

Stephen
