I see it as a portable media device (ebook reader, cinema, radio, TV with
tvcatchup.com, iPod, etc.) which I find I've been using my iPhone for a lot
these days. But as I enter advanced old age a bigger display would be an
advantage for my weary eyes.

Then if you overlay the email, browser, iWork, etc. functions with the claimed
10 hour usage life this makes it quite a good device for the non-work user.
Better than a Kindle or similar and hardly expensive in Apple £'s when compared
to MacBook/Pros.

Now if only it had got a web cam then it would be a no-brainer for me.

As it is, can you imagine it on a dock in the kitchen running one of those
iPhone cookery apps, playing music? Or in a living room as a photoframe playing
music? Or the electronic textbook collection, linked to iTunes U, etc? Or
watching TV in bed while your partner is watching something
else/reading/sleeping?

Regards,
