I'm not sure if pixelmator or photoshop will open these images: pixelmator 
certainly exports to a vast number of formats. Canvas might do it, but the mac 
version has been dropped so you'd have to chase the manufacturers.

The guy who coded what used to be iview, now sold as part of office, could 
write a filter for any file in no time at all, and used to do this.
