Hi,

I have 2 macs at home: an iMac 24", 3 Ghz and a MBP 13", 2,66 Ghz.

I am checking some subtitles for a client who sends the videos in wmv. They
play very well on QT on the iMac, but I can't play them on the QT on the MBP.

I know there are lots of video formats, codecs and we always have this problem
of videos and codecs at the subtitling course where I teach (my share is the
language component, not the techniques). Sometimes the video works on one
computer in the network and not in the other with the same software - windows
media player. It is so weird that Gray's Anatomy has sound in one computer and
the one next to it, it is baffling, to say the least.

Any idea what I need to install or not to play these videos on the MacBook?

Thanks

Ana
