Hi Steve

Open Applications > iSync > iSync Preferences > Reset Sync History. Then go to 
System Preferences >MobileMe > Sync > Advanced > Reset Sync Data > Reset the 
contact data from MobileMe replacing the contact data on your Mac, or the other 
way round depending on where the most up to date contacts are.
