In addition to the stuff in the article, I have auto-log-in disabled, run my
own account as non-admin and use 1Password with no form filling allowed in
Safari etc.  1Password is brilliant, well worth the money, I have it on mac
and iPhone.

One thing that slightly concerned me from the Apple support article was the
statement that booting in target disk mode would be blocked.  So if my drive
went belly-up, would it still be possible to retrieve data, provided the
data recovery person/company had the firmware password?  (Yes, yes, back-up,
back-up and back-up again.  I do!)
