Hi Phil
That did happen quite often with the MacBooks especially when they get
picked up with one hand over the cd drive. You might find that argon
screwdriver, covered with a teatowel, inserted at a very shallow
angle can be used to very gently pry apart the two sides of the cd
slot. It should at least allow the disc to be ejected and after some
pressure might fix the problem.
Regards

Sam,
Restart/track pad didn't work and it's not a non-standard disc or
one with a label. Looking closely at the laptop, I think it might
have been trodden on by a six year old (there's a lesson there about
not leaving a laptop on the floor). There's a definite bow to the
case in the area of the CD drive and I think that's jamming the
eject. Hmmmmm.
How easy/difficult is it to disassemble so I can get the CD out and
then tweak the case straight?

Hi Phil
Restart holding down the trackpad button, if that doesn't pop it
out then there's a problem either with the drive or the disc. Is
the disc non-standard? Does it have a label stuck on it?

Morning all,
My MacBook Pro has a CD stuck in its drive. It makes the usual
whirring noise when I try and eject, then makes a more painful
sounding whirring noise, and then mounts the CD again. A restart
didn't help. Any ideas (what was wrong with the old paper-clip
eject hole eh?).
