I'd be interested to know other people's views of the "Mighty Mouse". I like
the design, but have been disappointed with its flexibility of use. Why can't its button
scroll both up and down? Anyway my mouse has had an accident with a cup of coffee and now
it's gone haywire.
leave it somewhere to dry out, with batteries removed. actually, I'd say
the only hope for this one is to rinse it out and let it dry (could take
days). Don't heat it up (much) when you do so.
Having spent a lot of time trying to clean the buggers, I was very very
happy to get a Magic Mouse. You can only clean the roller ball so many
times.
so unless you're very poor, order a Magic Mouse and bin the Mighty one.
Or you could waste a lot of time.
NB ifthe coffee had sugar, you will be VERY lucky to get it working ok
without rinsing with warm (and I mean warm, not hot) water very
thoroughly. Black coffee will be ok -- probably -- after drying, milk is
somewhere in the middle...
