Whether you can use dropbox depends on the storage you have available and the size of your library I imagine.

Yes you will need 2 copies but you can copy 25 tracks in each batch on the free version so even if you do need it on both then not much of an issue. I know it was very easy. I used it when I got my new Mac to copy my windows synced library to it.
