Oopsie. Dropped my back up HDD (an Iomega 1.5TB job in a metal case, forget the model name) on the floor from about 6 feet up. I use Time Machine to back up my macbook.
Cracked case but actually seems to be working normally. Macbook mounts the disk, Time Machine backs up to it, I have even started the process of restoring from it (up to the point of committing). Is it worth using Disk utility to verify it, or should I start saving for a replacement just in case?
