Go for it! I've had a 16GB 3G one from the outset and just do not take a laptop around at all. Wonderful for using in bed - if that's your thing. So far 16GB has been enough but if you want to keep much video on it then shoot for 32GB. There are loads of excellent apps for the iPad. I use Pages and Keynote and find them more than adequate. And I use Air Sharing HD and iDisk for accessing files I want to use out and about. Last resort I've found Remote Tap, or similar, for accessing my iMac away from home a lifesaver for files I've forgotten to transfer across to my iPad - just transfer them to iDisk or DropBox or whatever and you're away. I think the iPad's limitations have been overstated. You can get most things done if you look for the right app. Regards, Tony -- Tony Crooks <mailto: [email protected]> 53 Mendip Avenue Eastbourne BN23 8HP Mob: 07590508079 Tel: 01323-460789 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
