restart the mac and the router. if that doesn't work, tell us what
router, whether other machines are getting a connection. That symbol
means 'airport is kinda working but I can't get the internet'
also dig out network diagnistics tool. simplest way is try to load a
page in safari and if it can't do it, it will offer the chance to launch
it (it's buried somewhere, probably the Utilities folder)
