Hi Peter Does the HP have its own wireless card? If so then there's no need to connect it to the Airport Express via USB, just join the printer to the wifi network.
Either way, go to System Prefs > Print & Fax > click the + button to add a printer > choose the HP Printer that's connected via Bonjour and click add.
