Can anyone advise? From another list.

I have an old G4 tower (graphite) which runs OS9, because there is scanner
software on the machine that is classic only. I installed a dvi-card in the
tower, and connected it to a Geffen DVI KVM switcher so that I can use it on my
23" Cinema HD display. The screen appears, but the keyboard and mouse do not
work. I found out that the switcher requires USB 2, while the G4 tower is USB
1.

The problem is that OS9 apparently has a problem with USB 2: unsupported. Is
there any PCI-card I could use under OS9? Any recommendations?

The scanner is a Screen Cezanne, a software update to OSX costs €1000 plus
SCSI-solution, so I prefer to work with that 1999 G4.

All the best,
