Thanks to SMUG I have successfully transferred data to the new MBA, which is working fine - except for the trackpad, which functions erratically. At times the pointer freezes and won't work at all, then it suddenly comes to life again. I've tried adjusting the settings in System Preferences, but this had made no difference.
