howdy chaps, i have the lovely iphone 4 but cant use it here in Thailand. I'm thinking about unlocking it. i need it to work with itunes as we develop iphone apps and i need to test them etc. am i right in saying you cant use the itunes store to download apps if you unlock the phone? also is it correct that you cant update the software until the jailbreak comes out for the new version of software? is jail break unlocking or is that when you download the free apps (that should be paid for?
i'm travelling a lot in different countries this year, i dont mind unlocking, then updating the software and unlocking with the new version iof the software in another country, that could work. am i right in what i understand and is there anything else i need to consider do you reckon? just not using the iphone as it is, other than for work purposes when on the net.
