I now use iWork exclusively in preference to office. A great thing about iWork is that in my experience it opens Office documents really well.
Most people I know use Office so they send me Word documents and I find that Pages does a superb job of opening them. Once you get the hang of Pages, Numbers and Keynote, then I think they are much nicer to use than MS Office.
