I use a combination of pages on my mac and openoffice on my Windows machine. I
actually prefer pages as its much slicker and has a better user interface but
openoffice is DRM free and not tied to a software manufacturer so it has a
place on my windows machine as giving more money Microsoft makes me cringe. As
for Apple I dont want to give any more money to them either if I can help as I
think the app stores 30% policy is outrageous but I know when this MacBook goes
pop I will go out and spend my hard earned cash on a new MacBook pro as the
hardware is so reliable and I like shinny fast bits of kit........ok i'm a
sucker!

regards all
Ray
