so my ipad has died, no other words for it. it wont turn on, it doesn't come up with the 'battery dead give me some bitty' sign and if plugged in, it wont charge.
it's had a fair chunk of stick over the last year as we've been using it a lot whilst travelling. i bought it as soon as it came out last year (pre-order). i dont have any of the documentation here. i'm living in thailand at the moment, so whatever i need to do it's no doubt going to be a chew on to sort it. i've just looked and there are apple resellers here, no official apple tho. what should i do? anyone had an ipad die and if so is it worth sending back to apple or should i just take it on the chin and buy ipad 2 (I'd kinda made a decision to go cold turkey with my gadget addiction and wait til ipad 3 came out, but....)? my brother lives in brighton so i could send it back to him - we're not using it that much whilst here so no dramas, maybe it would be better to get him to take it into the Apple Store there. will it be under warranty do u reckon, ipad 1 was launched 1/27/2010, if its a years warranty it'll be out of warranty and no doubt cost a small fortune to sort with P&P and apple costs. hmm. any thoughts would be appreciated.
