It's not an 'apparent' problem, it's quite real! ;-)

On the thread I'd read, people had changed their cases, reinserted their SIMs 
and changed their SIM, and for some it worked and for some only temporarily and 
for some not at all.

Anyway, it's next stop the Orange shop I think. Not really any other option 
remaining. Except an iPad 2 maybe ... I noticed that they have moved the 
position of the MicroSIM slot.
