Hi all, I have had the following posting on the Apple boards removed by Apple as it is against the terms of use! Anyone on here had any experience of the problem or thoughts?
BEGIN: I noticed on here that many others are having the same problem. I have had my iPad since the 26th of May 2010 and installed the SIM that day. I had never removed the SIM card since installing and until last week had never had any problem with it at all. After installing iOS 4.3, the same day I think, it said "No SIM". I've removed and reinserted the SIM, many times, to no avail. Taken it to the Apple Store and it was then fine! Then took it out and reinserted it and "No SIM" again. The 'Genius' wiped my iPad and restored my iPad to their version of iOS 4.3 (which oddly replaced the text "Cellular data" in Settings with "Mobile Data" even though both before and after were running iOS 4.3!) Anyway, after the wipe and Apple iOS 4.3 replacement it was fine. We removed and reinserted the SIM three times and it was fine. Sorted. I got home, switched it on and "No SIM". Again! Today Apple replaced my iPad with an ... iPad 1 (boo!). We transferred my SIM card. They installed iOS 4.2.1 and it found the SIM card straight away. I got it home and installed the iOS 4.3 update and now ... "No SIM". So, all of you people who have been reporting this issue, the BIG question is - Are we all running iOS 4.3? If so, then I think we have the answer. Please post below and let's put it to the test END I'd be interested to know obviously ...
