"yes, I was expecting some rave reviews...perhaps those who got them are just too busy with Garageband...!"
How did you know, Jason?! I too queued up on Friday from sometime around 3pm at Cancom, Brighton. Emrah was just next to me in the line so it was great to meet him and others nearby; I didn't get people's names but I'm sure there were other SMUGgers in our midst. I don't think I've queued like that to buy anything before, it was a fun couple of hours. I'd like to thank Darren at Cancom for kindly offering the discount via this group. I came away with what I wanted and I am really please. It does make a difference to have this lighter, slimmer and faster model compared to the (classic?) iPad. Back to Garageband... It is outstanding. I've been getting to grips with the inbuilt instruments, loops etc. and I'm about to set about recording guitar via an iRig adaptor; I believe that USB (musical) keyboards can be used via the camera connection kit. I hope what Argos are showing on their website is true, so that anyone ordering gets one nice and quick, don't hesitate!] Mark Mark Schofield, Hove On Mar 26, 11:23 am, Emrah Omuris <[email protected]> wrote: > Queued on CANCOM Brighton.
