Hi Sam.

I've upgraded the software on my iPhone 3GS to 4.3.1 and gone to settings / 
personal hotspot. Looks like I can connect using either bluetooth or USB but, 
disappointingly, not wifi. Still - a connection using my 3 mobile contract is 
good news.
