Hi all If I was to get an iPhone from O2, would I be able to take out AppleCare?
My first 3GS developed a cracked case within warrantee. The replacement is about 6 months old, out if it's 90-day replacement-so-it's-a-shorter-warrantee and is troublesome. There is ginger under the screen (I guess from a dodgy seal), the mute switch is temperamental, the gps often fails to switch off necessitating a restart and the case is cracked at the dock connector port. Not to mention that various apps that both colleagues and I run seem slower and more likely to crash out on my phone compared to theirs. I was hoping to pretend all was well till iPhone 5, but I have a sinking feeling I won't be able to indulge in bleeding edge at the next iteration. Ho hum. But I would rather have the protection of Applecare if I can get it, given my experience of this particular handset.
