Hi Derek Keep in mind this will allow the iPhone to delete directly from the Yahoo servers, so anything you delete on the iPhone will not be downloaded by your laptop (which will still be a POP account).
POP = everything downloaded to your computer with the possibility of leaving the emails on the server for another device to pick up IMAP = everything hosted on the server with the ability for all devices to sync changes ie deletions and moves.
