Long story, but briefly I need to buy a Windows PC (excuse my language) laptop
for my elderly, ailing brother. (I'd love to get him a MacbookAir, but that
would be considered "too whizzy"). The brief is:

A light, simple laptop with wifi, so he can keep it by his chair.
The most basic laptop, literally the smallest memory capacity etc.
He doesn't need to insert a disk or anything, it's just for email and
internet and the odd letter.

I wonder if any "switchers" in the group are still able to recommend a laptop
that fits the bill. Also, I need to find someone who could take the new laptop
to Chelwood Gate (nearish to Haywards Heath) and set it up for him. Any
suggestions?

I just Googled "PC World Haywards Heath" and this, at the top of the page, did
not give me a warm feeling:

just to announce that i bought a advent 7083 laptop from pcworld, the tech
support people where thick as s**t (sorry i mean knowledgeable as ever) and
couldnt answer my questions.

Regards,

Gilly
