I keep quiet about my prog-rock leanings Rob so I'm impressed that you should
feel able to admit to them on a public forum.

It was ambient, neo-classical, World music leanings that I was hoping to
indulge with an iPad, Garageband, a pair of headphones, and a sunny day in the
Kemp Town gardens, but it seems I can only do that in 4/4. Maybe I'll just try
and write a boy-band hit single instead. Hey, how about an iPad app that
composes a pop song automatically in GarageBand? You just hum a melody into the
mic, give it a few clichéd snatches of lyric and press the "compose" button.
The app could even submit "your" song to the iTunes store.

Phil

PS. Sorry Jason, a bit OT I know. I'll pipe down now.
