Hi All Just had the good fortune to have been at a client's house when he received an interesting phone call from someone purporting to be from Microsoft, asking to speak to him by name.
He passed the phone over to me, the support technician explained, in a thick Indian accent over a very bad quality VoIP line, that he was calling from Microsoft and "my computer had downloaded some unwanted junk and malware threats". I asked him to confirm exactly which threats, which he dutifully explained were "very serious and unwanted". I then asked what type of computer I had, while staring at my client's mac mini. He hung up. Never ever believe anyone who calls you telling you anything about your equipment! Made my day.
