Smuggers I help my father with all his Apple input, but to do so I often need help from those more helpful than me!
He has a 4 year old iMac and wants to upgrade to Lion. It IS Intel Core 2 Duo, but only 1GB of Ram, so... 1. I have two 1GB sticks of DDR3 Ram from an old MacBook sat in a drawer. Will one of those work for him? What's the worse that could happen if I tried and it wasn't right? I'd/he'd be so grateful if someone could confirm either way. He's more than happy to buy a new stick if needed, but freecycling and all that!
