Garmin have a UK & Ireland version for the iPhone but its not cheap at £45.00.  
If its as good as the stand-alone in-car GPS, it makes use of the traffic flow 
monitor's data and automatically tries to guide you around hold-ups - provided 
you trust it.

I've been caught a couple of times when she tried to take me via a route I 
wasn't expecting so I ignored her and got caught in a jam.  Now, I just follow 
her instructions, as I should have done in the first place!
