I use the TomTom app with a traffic subscription. Works very well, I have only ever been caught once, and that was because it happened only a few minutes before I arrived (and I got there before the emergency services).
Like Chris, I have learnt that my wife is not the only woman whose instructions I should follow without question. (So far...)
