Hi although it lacks a certain finesse Ive found that Lion works fine
on my machine the applications run ok and I am not suffering the time
delays that your suffering. As you stated the fan is almost always
on, this could indicate an overheating component within the machine.
I had a similar problem on a pc where the machine kept locking up
when the processor was overheating....Just a thought...
regards ray

I'm just putting this out there to see if it's just me or not.
Since installing Lion (via the app store) on my Macbook Pro 2.4ghz
Intel core 2 duo, 4gb (667) it is running like a dog.
Exposure and Spaces take ages to affect, getting the screen saver
to let me in again can take up to 30 seconds (Itunes screen saver)
Opening documents is sometimes extremely slow as is tabbing between
open programs.
The fan is almost always
I feel like I've gone back to working with V*sta on a cheap pc.
Could Lion be Apple's Vista?
I'm really not impressed.
