If you satisfy educational criteria you can get a discount. There are several possibilities. The best is if you work at a registered college or university.
Otherwise, the best I know is Dixons/Currys/PCWorld in Heathrow, who give about 20% off (don't quote me). But they don't advertise their prices. You just find them when you are there. I'm afraid I've stopped travelling for this year, so I can't check for you. These prices work even if you have the machine delivered to you at home, so they are nothing to do with import duty.
