I sync notes with my MacMini server via IMAP, so don't have a web view for that. I'm sure Time Machine is the best way of backing up. If you export an iCal archive it won't contain any networked calendars anyway. I doubt Apple would push a button and delete all their data, they have hundreds of data centres so short of nuclear war I think we're ok, in which case your calendars won't matter anymore.
