Hi
Can anyone advise on this problem. I have recently noticed that operations on
my iMac are now going slowly when I am using iTunes. (The mouse movements and
responses are a bit delayed and jagged). looking at Activity Monitor it says
that iTunes is using a surprising 87 - 92% CPU, system. Memory is 1.14 free,
529.1 wired, active 1.56. Real memory is 709 MB Virtual memory is 694.
(You may have already realised that I don't actually know what I'm talking
about here, so any explanation of these figures and their relevance or
irrelevance will be gratefully received!)
