Yes it is the button, so you could well have a point. I can still use it ok, it just does the odd dodgy click. I'll give the contacts recommenced a try when i get some time. Thanks for the suggestions re mission criticality, I've got an (as yet untested) strategy in place that uses a credit card, the apple shop and a backup! :) I don't want to spare lie about which is costing me money and depreciating.
