I'll play.

1. ByWord - fantastic, clean text editor with Markdown support. Really good
for producing all manner of documents, opens Word docs, saves as PDFs. I
use it in conjunction with Marked which shows a live preview of the
document.

2. Rapidweaver. Great web design program for Macs with a vibrant, lively
community of users and developers.

3. GarageBand - after using Logic I came back to this and Band In A Box for
Mac which has some amazing sounds, instruments and soloists that will
create songs for you - just type in the chords.

4. Pocket - may favourite read this web page later app

5. FileZilla - free FTP software

6. MiniPicker - grab the hex colour from any web page

7. Pixelmator - Adobe, Schmadobe...

8. Web Elements - web-ready graphics for a few quid.

9. MacPaw Gemini - find and remove duplicates

10. Picturesque - only does a few image editing chores (shadows, frames,
reflections etc.) but does them brilliantly.
